Parents

Father and DaughterAt Tri-Cities Christian School our desire is to partner with parents to help students develop into mature Christian young people. We are grateful for the opportunity to assist you in the education of your child. We look forward to working together with you. Thank you for choosing TCCS!

Edline

TCCS parents can view their student’s progress on Edline, a technology solution that helps improve student performance by harnessing the power of parental involvement. Each family is given an activation code. Parents and students can log on daily to check assignments and grades and communicate with teachers.

Important Information

Dress Code

Tri-Cities Christian has adopted a uniform policy as a means of building character and distinction in the lives of the students. Our goals in having this policy are to promote student's self-respect, lessen peer pressure, encourage unity among students, and to provide the opportunity for students to make a positive statement in the community. The only logo accepted on any blouses, shirts, sweaters, vests, and turtlenecks is the TCCS logo available from Lands End. TCCS’ preferred school number is 900074626.

Each Friday, students are allowed to wear “Spirit Wear” t-shirts, instead of the regular uniform shirt. These shirts are available for purchase at the school consignment sale, school sporting events and via an order form.

After School Care

Extended School Care (ESC) is provided at the Blountville Campus from the end of the school day until 6:00 p.m. The monthly fee of $60 per student must be paid by the first of each month. The ESC fee for the Junior Eaglet is included in their tuition. ESC will not be provided at the Blountville Campus when school is closed due to inclement weather, early dismissals, holidays, summer break or other designated days.

Lunch Menu

Lunch is available for those who wish to purchase it. A variety of hot lunches, sandwiches, and snacks are offered. Parents send in money to be placed in each of their child/ren’s individual account. As the child goes through the lunch line, the child gives their assigned account number to the cashier and that days lunch cost is deducted from the account. Statements are sent home periodically to inform parents of the amount of money left in the account.

Parent Teacher Fellowship

The purpose of the Parent Teacher Fellowship is to promote, enhance, and enrich Christian education by providing an organized team of volunteer parents to support the programs of the school. The PTF brings parents and teachers together to support and enrich the educational experience of the children.

The PTF serves as a communication bridge between the administration/faculty and parents. The organization serves to disseminate information, answer questions, and to address needs as they change.

The Parent Teacher Fellowship depends on each family's contribution through active participation. It is the desire of the PTF leadership that each parent and teacher prayerfully consider his or her involvement with PTF, which organizes a number of projects including Teacher Appreciation, Prayer Committees, Mercy Ministries, and Fund Raisers. Funds raised through the PTF are given directly back to the school through consultation between the school administration and PTF Committee votes. Please contact the PTF President to see where you can best serve.
